Mineral Wells

Mineral Wells, A Town Built on Water.  Since the city's founder first tasted the area's mineral rich waters in the 1880s, Mineral Wells has been a haven for those seeking health and relaxation.  Those same waters that flowed can still be tasted here today, and locals and visitors alike swear by their healing properties.  The ties to water run much deeper than a bottle, though.  The Mineral Wells area is home to many lakes perfect for camping and outdoor recreation, and the magnificent Brazos River snakes its way through Palo Pinto Country, luring nature lovers as it did the writer John Graves 50 years ago when he penned the masterpiece Goodbye to a River.

Businesses large and small,  people young and old thrive in this healthy mix of old and new.  It's uniquely Mineral Wells--always exciting but still comfortable.
